I am getting calls: having my details removed

If you receive unwanted commercial calls and believe your details came from our tools, here is what to do. Your request is taken seriously and handled quickly.

What to understand first

IQUALIF publishes software that lets its users consult information that is already public (directories and websites open to everyone). We do not sell consumer files and we are not the origin of the calls you receive: those are made by the company contacting you, which alone is responsible for meeting its obligations.

Having your details removed from our tools

Write to contact@iqualif.com or use the contact form, giving:

• the phone number you are being called on;
• your name, if you want the removal to cover it as well;
• the name and number of the company calling you, if you know them.

We add your number to an internal exclusion list, check whether it appears in our tools and, if so, remove it and confirm to you.

Stopping the calls for good

1. Ask the directories to remove your details where they appear. This is the most effective action, since that is the source.
2. Register with your country's do-not-call list: Bloctel in France, ne-m-appelez-plus.be in Belgium.
3. Exercise your right to object directly with the company calling you: it is required to act on it.

If the calls continue

Note the exact company name and the number used, and send them to us. If that company uses our software, we remind it of its obligations on commercial canvassing. Without identifying the caller we unfortunately have no way to act at their level.
