A download that stays at 0% or stops progressing is almost always fixed by the following checks, in this order.
1. Check your Internet connection
Open your browser (Google Chrome, Edge, Firefox…) and load any website: that confirms your computer is connected.
2. Change the search profile
At the top of the software, at step 3. Search profile, open the drop-down and select another profile, then run the search again. This is the most effective fix when the default profile returns nothing.
3. Check that the software is up to date
Menu File → Settings → Advanced → Check for updates. Let it finish, click OK, then restart IQUALIF.
4. Check your firewall and antivirus
Make sure they are not blocking IQUALIF. Disable them temporarily to test; if that fixes it, add IQUALIF as an exception rather than leaving them off.
5. Contact us
If the speed stays below your plan for a long time, e-mail contact@iqualif.com, call us or use the contact form, giving your licence key, the software version (menu ? → About) and the search profile used. You can also ask to speak to a customer service agent: we offer secure remote assistance.
Why speed can vary
The speed quoted for your plan is a maximum. It also depends on the search profile selected, on the Detailed search option (which fetches e-mails and extra details and deliberately slows processing) and on your Internet connection.
