Getting e-mail addresses in the results

Turn on e-mail collection

By default IQUALIF favours speed and does not visit detailed records. To collect e-mail addresses:

1. Open IQUALIF.
2. Top left, click File then Settings.
3. Tick Detailed search (or "Extract more details").
4. If available separately, also tick Extract more mail data.
5. Confirm and re-run the search.

This deliberately slows processing, since the software opens each contact's full record and, for businesses, visits the company website when one is listed.

What to expect

• Business (B2B): the e-mail is collected when published on the company record, then completed from the company website when one exists.
• Residential (B2C): residential directories generally do not publish e-mail addresses, so the fill rate is very low or nil.

The software returns what directories and websites publish; it never guesses or reconstructs an address.
